On the long-standing and narrow streets of lava base, which, from the historic centre of Via Grande, stand out towards neighbouring villages, a small town, Viscolari, recalls the concept of summer holidays zone as it was meant by the catanese noble until a few decades ago. A conglomerate of old residences with lava stone portals, matching with the typical colours of the etnee zone, alternate with little churches of baroque style, faces the roofs of the historic centre of Viagrande with a splendid outlook over the see. The "Casa degli allori" is an antique residence from the 1800's from which two apartments divided into comfortable and ample rooms with heating, independent service room and kitchen have been redrawn in conditions to accommodate up to eight persons (4+4). Lovely terraces overlook a Sicilian garden of lemon and laurels.
