EuropeandRelax.com is a search directory dedicated to Bed and Breakfast accommodations in Europe and represents a family welcome, in conjunction with nature, arts and local traditions.


Accommodation types are divided into five categories:


  • Bed & Breakfast: private family property providing sleeping accommodation and breakfast with a special emphasis on the welcoming of guests. The number of beds available depends on the property size.

  • Guest House: normally larger than Bed & Breakfast, is usually a private family house. Most of the Guest Houses include a cooked breakfast in the accommodation price. Some will also offer meals for the guests. You will find a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with hosts that will give you extra information and suggestions about places of interest in the local area to visit. Guest Houses are very typical and appreciated in England. In Spain, a Guest House can also be known as a ‘Hostal’, and should not be confused with a ‘Hostel’ (basic hostel accommodation for young people also called Albergues Juveniles).

  • County House: rural farm house with pleasant countryside scenery, also known as ‘Agriturismo’ in Italy. It is located in convenient country locations outside the towns. Apart from accommodation and breakfast it may also offer sporting activities and on occasion also a restaurant with a menu of fare typical of the local area.

  • Villa: charming building of historical interest, architecturally impressive, with large and elegant rooms. It can offer accommodation ranging from bed and breakfast to whole-house rental.

  • Apartment: holiday flat and self-catering accommodation with either complete kitchen or kitchenette. This accommodation is totally independent.

EuropeandRelax.com visitors can send a reservation or information request by email to the accommodation properties. They will then reply to any queries directly to the potential visitors. EuropeandRelax.com is not linked to communication between the property and the customer. EuropeandRelax.com not will charge any intermediation fee.
